European Route E 23 is a series of roads in Europe, part of the United Nations International E-road network. [edit] Route through FranceIt runs from Metz, France to Lausanne, Switzerland. It firstly travels along the A31 autoroute to Laxou and along the A33 autoroute until it reaches Ludres. It then moves onto the A330 autoroute until Flavigny-sur-Moselle. Finally it travels along the Route nationale 57 on which it crosses the Swiss border. [edit] Route through SwitzerlandAfter leaving France, the route follows the Swiss A9 motorway until Orbe, where it joins the A1 motorway until reaching its final destination of Lausanne.
