Ersan İlyasova (born May 15, 1987 in Eskişehir, Turkey) is a Turkish professional basketball player currently on the roster of the NBA's Milwaukee Bucks. He is 6'10" (2.08 m) in height.[1][2]

İlyasova played professionally in the Turkish League with Ülkerspor during the 2004-05 season.
İlyasova was selected by the Milwaukee Bucks in the second round (36th overall) of the 2005 NBA Draft and signed a two-year contract with them on August 23, 2005. İlyasova did not play in an NBA game during the 2005-06 season. He was instead assigned to the Bucks' affiliated D-League team, the Tulsa 66ers,[3] where he played 46 games and averaged 12.5 points and 7.0 rebounds per game.[4]
When he made his NBA debut on November 1, 2006, İlyasova played for the Bucks. He left the Bucks after the 2006-07 season to play in the Euroleague. In July 2009, he returned to the Bucks after signing a three-year $7 million contract.[5][6]
On June 16, 2007, he accepted a two-year contract with the Spanish League club FC Barcelona.[7] He was the first Turkish player in team history.[8]

Before İlyasova was chosen to play for the senior Turkish national team, he was named the MVP of the 2006 FIBA Europe Under-20 Championship, after leading Turkey's junior national team to a silver medal in İzmir.[9]
