Ernesto Cortissoz International Airport (Spanish: Aeropuerto Internacional Ernesto Cortissoz) (IATA: BAQ[2]ICAO: SKBQ) is located 12 km (7 mi) from Barranquilla,[1] the capital of the Atlántico department in Colombia. It is located in the municipality of Soledad, about 7 km (4 mi) south of the city of Barranquilla. The airport owes its name to one of the pioneers of Colombian aviation, Ernesto Cortissoz.
