In 2006, Hill was listed at #35 in People Magazine's 100 Most Beautiful People issue.

On September 22, 2008, Hill was named the new co-anchor of the Saturday edition of The Early Show on CBS after filling in on a temporary basis six weeks earlier. Her first show as the permanent anchor was on September 27, 2008.[5]
