Eric MacKenzie (born 19 May 1988) is an Australian rules footballer in the West Australian Football League (WAFL) and Australian Football League (AFL). Eric MacKenzie plays for Claremont, however he also plays for West Coast at AFL level since being drafted in 2006.
[edit] Career[edit] West Coast EaglesMacKenzie was drafted in the 2nd round of the 2006 AFL Draft.[1] He is currently a developing player on the list however has racked up 8 games in his short career. In May of 2009 Mackenzie, while doing the kick out, attempted to pass to Shannon Hurn but with a lazy kick passed it straight to Sydney's Kieren Jack which resulted in the game winning goal. [edit] Claremont TigersMacKenzie was given his first chance with WAFL club Claremont.[2] He has played 32 games with the club and played 12 in 2008, splitting his time between Claremont and West Coast.
