Irving Falu (born June 6, 1983 in Hato Rey, Puerto Rico) is a minor league baseball player, currently playing second base and shortstop for the Omaha Royals, the Triple-A affiliate of the Kansas City Royals. He attended college at Indian Hills and was drafted in the 21st round of the 2003 first year player draft. He is the cousin of the Boston Red Sox first base coach Luis Alicea.[3] [edit] Brent FisherBrent Fisher (born August 6, 1987) is a left-handed pitching prospect for the Kansas City Royals. He was the Royals' 7th (202 overall) round pick in the 2005 draft and is currently noted by several publications as one of their top 10 pitching prospects.[4] He throws a fastball, curveball, and changeup. It is anticipated that he will begin the 2007 season for the Burlington Bees in the KC Royals organization. [edit] Chris HayesChristopher Hayes (born February 5, 1983 in Lake Forest, Illinois) is a Minor League Baseball pitcher for the Kansas City Royals organization. From Northwestern University, he signed undrafted to the Windy City ThunderBolts. Later, he would be signed by the Kansas City Royals, and currently plays for the Class AAA Omaha Royals. He also writes a popular blog on Major League Baseball's web site. Due to his sidearm fastball rarely reaching 80 miles an hour, he has been nicknamed "Disco" because he "maxes out in the seventies."[5]

Eric John Hosmer (born October 24, 1989 in Cooper City, Florida) is a first baseman for the Kansas City Royals organization. Hosmer attended American Heritage School (Florida). He was chosen by the Royals in the first round (3rd overall) in the 2008 Major League Baseball Draft.
[edit] Blake JohnsonBlake Johnson (June 14, 1985 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana ) is a Minor League Baseball pitcher for the Kansas City Royals organization. He was selected by the Los Angeles Dodgers in the 2nd Round (58th overall) of the 2004 amateur entry draft and signed on June 6, 2004. On July 25, 2006, he was traded by the Dodgers with Odalis Perez, Julio Pimentel and cash considerations to Royals for Elmer Dessens.[6] He currently plays for the Class AA Northwest Arkansas Naturals. [edit] Carlos SencionCarlos Sencion (November 17, 1984 in Sanchez Ramirez, Dominican Republic) is a Minor League Baseball pitcher for the Kansas City Royals organization. He signed as a non-drafted free agent by the Atlanta Braves on Sept. 14, 2001. Later, he would be signed by the Kansas City Royals, and currently plays for the Class AA Northwest Arkansas Naturals. [edit] Corey SmithCorey Christopher Smith (born April 15, 1982 in Plainfield, New Jersey), is an American professional baseball player. An infielder, Smith has played in minor league baseball since 2000. Before being selected by the Cleveland Indians with the 26th overall pick in the 2000 Major League Baseball Draft, Smith attended Piscataway Township High School. Smith hit 19 home runs for the Akron Aeros in the 2004 season and 26 home runs for the Arkansas Travelers in the 2008 season. Smith is currently a 2009 Spring Training non-roster invitee for the Kansas City Royals.
