Emmanuel Dubourg is a Quebec politician, chartered accountant and teacher. He is the current the Member of National Assembly for the riding of Viau. He became the second black MNA after Yolande James. Dubourg obtained a master's degree in business administration at the Université du Québec à Montréal but was a member of the Ordre des comptables agréés du Québec since 1987. He was a teacher at the Université du Québec à Montréal, the Université du Québec en Outaouais and the CEGEP Montmorency. He obtained several awards and distinctions for his work including the Governor General Medal and the Innovation and Excellence prize from Revenue Canada in 1992 and the Black History Month award in 2006 for his work among the Black Community. Dubourg was elected in the 2007 elections succeeding former Liberal MNA William Cusano. He was named the Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Employment and Social Solidarity, a portfolio held by Sam Hamad. [edit] External links
