Emilio Benfele Álvarez (born November 15, 1972, in Figueres) is a professional tennis player from Spain who retired in 2005. His favourite surface was clay, and he achieved his only ATP final in 2000 after reaching the final in Kitzbühel. He achieved his best ranking position in 1997, when he reached the World Number 81 position, while in doubles, he reached the World Number 91, his best doubles ranking ever, in 2004.
