Coordinates: 21°54′08″N 120°51′10″E / 21.902222°N 120.852778°E Cape Eluanbi (Chinese: 鵝鑾鼻; pinyin: Éluánbí; Wade-Giles: O-luan-pi; POJ: Gô-lôan-phīⁿ; loosely: Goose beak) is located on the southernmost tip of the Taiwan Central Mountain Range, also known as Ngoluanpi. Facing toward the Luzon Strait, it is also the southernmost cape of Taiwan. The name Gô-lôan (Chinese: 鵝鑾; pinyin: Eluan) derives from Goran, as means "Sail" coming from Paiwan language of Paiwan people which is one of the Taiwanese aborigines. The word phīⁿ (Chinese: 鼻; pinyin: bi) means "nose", referring to the shape of the "Cape". [edit] LighthouseThere is a lighthouse situated on Cape Eluanbi, called Eluanbi Light. [edit] See also
