Elections in the Republic of Macedonia gives information on election and election results in the Republic of Macedonia.

The Republic of Macedonia elects on national level a head of state - the president - and a legislature. The president is elected for a five year term by the people. The Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia (Sobranie) has 120 members, elected for a four year term, by proportional representation. The Republic of Macedonia has a multi-party system, with numerous parties in which no one party often has a chance of gaining power alone, and parties must work with each other to form coalition governments.

Electoral constituencies in Macedonia

The last parliamentary elections were held on 5 July 2006. The winner was the coalition led by the VMRO-DPMNE. The territory of the Republic of Macedonia is divided in six electoral constituencies and from each one are elected twenty members of the parliament. With the changes of the electoral law were formed three new constituencies for: Europe and Africa, South and North America and for Australia and Asia.[1] In these constituences will vote macedonian diaspora and will be elected three members of the parliament.
