Ed vs. Spencer is a comedy reality TV series based on the Canadian show Kenny vs. Spenny. It ran for one season during 2004 on Sky One.

In North America, Ed vs. Spencer is broadcast Thursday nights on BBC America as part of its programming lineup entitled "The Underground".

It focuses on two best friends, Ed Leigh and Spencer Claridge, who are constantly competing against each other in unusual and weird challenges for supremacy and bragging rights.

The comedy of the show does not focus so much on the challenges, but in the way the two competitors face them. Spencer is a doe-eyed innocent who steadfastly believes in hard work and persistence. In contrast, Ed will lie, cheat and do whatever else he can to beat his friend. At the end of the programme, the loser has to undergo a humiliating forfeit chosen by the victor.

• Ed Leigh hit the headlines in summer 2004 when people at a London party saw a mystery man handcuff himself to Big Brother contestant Vanessa Nimmo. This man was in fact Ed, which was part of his master plan to be victorious in the challenge: Who can make himself the most famous?
• The executive producer is Will MacDonald, most famous for producing TFI Friday and presenting Carry on Campus.
• BBC America has not aired nor does it mention in the episode guide on their site, the episode entitled Who can make the best porn?, even though they mention it by name in their promos for the show. However The Comedy Channel in Australia has aired the episode.
• The series uses the same title sequence as Kenny vs. Spenny and the letters K and S can still be seen at the start in full screen transparent letters and on the 'battleship' board towards the end.
