EDP Renováveis (English: EDP Renewables, Euronext: EDPR) is a company of the Energias de Portugal group which operates in the field of renewable energy. EDP Renováveis is the 4th biggest renewables company in the world and the second-largest generator of wind energy globally (after Iberdrola Renovables).[2] EDP listed 25% of the company in an initial public offering on Euronext Lisbon in June 2008,[3] upon which it immediately became a member of the benchmark PSI-20 index as its fifth-largest company by market capitalisation.[4]

It owns Nuevas Energias del Occidente (which operates as Neo Energía, a holding that contains the European operations - Enernova in Portugal, Genesa and Desa in Spain, Agrupación Eólica in Spain and France, GreenWind in Belgium and Relax Wind Parks in Poland) and Horizon Wind Energy (which operates in the United States).
