Dz13 is an experimental treatment developed by Australian scientists which aims to combat a range of illnesses from diabetes to heart disease and cancer.

The treatment works by targeting "c-Jun", a transcription factor gene found in diseased blood vessels, eyes, lungs, joints, destroying the RNA in cells. It has a therapeutic effect on skin cancer in experimental models, and clinical trials will commence in 2010.^{[citation needed]}
