Dušan Uhrin (born February 5, 1943 in Nová Ves nad Žitavou) is a Czech and Slovak football coach. He was the coach of Slovan Bratislava. Although he was born in the Nitra District in the Slovakian part of Czechoslovakia, he has been living in Prague since he was 16 years old. He coached the Czech Republic national football team at the 1996 UEFA European Championship, where the Czech Republic were runners up. During his coaching career Dušan Uhrin was a coach of Sparta Praha (Czech Republic), FC Hradec Králové (Czech Republic), Rudá Hvězda Brno (Czech Republic), Bohemians (Czech Republic), Teplice (Czech Republic), Al-Nasr (Saudi Arabia), AIK (Sweden), AEL Limassol and APOEL FC (Cyprus), Maccabi Haifa FC (Israel) and coached of Kuwait National Team from 1999 till 2002.[1].
