Dur Mohammad Kassi is a television producer and documentary filmmaker. He was born on 10th March 1946 in Quetta, Balochistan, Pakistan to a Kassi Pashtun family. He obtained a Masters degree in Economics. He worked as a lecturer in a government college. On November 1, 1974, he become a producer in Pakistan Television Center, Quetta. He produced and directed many serials, plays and documentaries. He achieved best producer of PTV Award for documentary. He visited in connection with documentaries training to Holland. He served in PTV as a producer and a director^[1]. He was promoted to a Program Manager in 1984 and General Manager in 1989. He retired from his position on 10th March 2006. Dur Mohammad is also a well known writer. He has written several books in Pashto and Urdu languages.
