Dubrovnik Airport (IATA: DBV, ICAO: LDDU), also referred to as Čilipi Airport, is the international airport of Dubrovnik, Croatia. The airport is located approximately 15.5 km[1] (9.5 mi) from Dubrovnik city center, near the suburb of Čilipi. Dubrovnik Airlines is based at the Dubrovnik airport. In 2008, DBV served 1,191,474 passengers and saw 14,365 takeoffs and landings.

In 1987 Dubrovnik Airport handled 1.5 million passengers and 2500 tons of cargo, making 1987 year the busiest thus far. Dubrovnik is expected to hit those figures in 2010. [edit] ExpansionA new 36,500 square metres (392,883 sq ft) terminal with four jet bridges is under construction; the new terminal will have a projected annual capacity of 3.5 million passengers. Future airport plans call for an extensive commercial zone and a large four-star airport hotel, and long-term plans call for a new runway and the conversion of the existing runway in to a taxiway.
