Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar University, also Agra University is one of the oldest institutions in India. It is located in Uttar Pradesh, in the historic city of Agra. Well known professors of the university include Shankar Dayal Sharma, Motilal Nehru, Gulzari Lal Nanda, Chaudhary Charan Singh, Krishna Dutt Paliwal, Hridyanath Kunzru, and Dr. Deoki Nandan. It runs many courses successfully. There are various departments that run courses in all emerging fields and also certificate courses on foreign languages.

The Institute of Engineering & Technology Khandari is a renowned engineering institute of the university.
