Doctor Anthony Trueman is a fictional character from the popular BBC soap opera EastEnders, played by British actor Nicholas Bailey.
[edit] Character personal history
Anthony is the younger son of Patrick and Audrey Trueman and the brother of Paul Trueman. He is the brains of an otherwise dysfunctional family. Anthony worked as a doctor in the Square.
Anthony had a cradle-snatching relationship with Albert Square's resident teen Zoe Slater. Unsurprisingly, the relationship fell apart when Anthony realised he still loved Zoe's mother, Kat, who he had dated previously. He rekindled his relationship with Kat soon after but Kat broke up with him after she realised he wasn't who she wanted.
Anthony left the Square in 2003 to go travelling. He made brief returns to the Square in 2004 for Patrick's wedding to Yolande and in 2005 for Paul's funeral.
