This article is about the writer. For the American Civil War general, see Douglas H. Cooper. Douglas Anthony Cooper (born 1960 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada) is a writer who lives in Oaxaca, Mexico. He is often compared to metaphysical novelists like Italo Calvino and Milan Kundera, and many critics, including The New York Times, have likened him to Vladimir Nabokov.[1] Cooper has co-authored projects with artists and architects, notably with Peter Eisenman at the Milan Triennale, and with Diller + Scofidio on various new media installations around the world.[2] His novel Delirium is generally considered the first novel to be serialized on the World Wide Web.[3] [edit] Novels
