Douglas Slaten (born February 4, 1980, in Venice, California), is a Major League Baseball pitcher for the Washington Nationals. He attended Venice High School. He is a lefty specialist.

He made his major league debut on September 4, 2006, against the Florida Marlins. In 2007, Slaten appeared in 61 games for the D-Backs and recorded a 2.72 ERA.
After a 4.30 ERA in 38 games in 2008, Slaten was optioned to Triple-A Tucson. Slaten was claimed off waivers by the Washington Nationals on November 4, 2009.
