Doug Nolan (born January 5, 1976 in Quincy, Massachusetts) is a American ice hockey defenceman currently playing for the Vienna Capitals of the EBHL.

[edit] Playing career

Nolan was drafted 282nd overall by the Toronto Maple Leafs in the 1994 NHL Entry Draft, but never managed to play in the NHL. Nolan has spent most of his career in the minor leagues of North American hockey, most notably playing with the Manchester Monarchs of the American Hockey League for Five seasons.

Nolan joined Graz 99ers of the Austrian Hockey League in 2007. After one season he then moved on Dynamo Minsk in the newly formed KHL. He leave Minsk on 27 November and moved to Finland team Lukko[1] try out with Lukko (FIN) ended unsuccessfully and moved further to Frankfurt Lions[2], he left on 9 January 2009 Frankfurt and moved to Austrian club Vienna Capitals.
