Donji Grad as a part of Zagreb

Donji Grad (Downtown or Lower City in English) is one of the districts of Zagreb, Croatia. It is located in the central part of the city and has 45,108 inhabitants (as of 2001^[update]). The official name of the district is rarely used, for it is dubbed centar (center) by most of the Zagreb residents.
