Don Juan Jesu Carey, III (born February 14, 1987 in Grand Rapids, Michigan) is an American football cornerback for the Jacksonville Jaguars of the National Football League. He was drafted by the Cleveland Browns in the sixth round of the 2009 NFL Draft. He played college football at Norfolk State.
[edit] Early yearsPrior to attending Norfolk State, Carey went to Booker T. Washington High School in Norfolk.[1] [edit] Professional career[edit] Cleveland BrownsAfter starting for four seasons at Norfolk State, Carey was considered a "draftable" cornerback prospect prior to the 2009 NFL Draft. He was drafted by the Cleveland Browns in the sixth round of the draft. He was waived/injured by the Browns on August 6, 2009 due to a shoulder injury.
