Richard J. Bremer (born March 1, 1956 in Staples, Minnesota) is a sports broadcaster for Fox Sports Net. He does the play-by-play announcing for the Minnesota Twins and Minnesota Gophers men's basketball and other Minnesota sports. He partners up with Bert Blyleven for the Twins games.

Bremer is a graduate of Staples High School in Staples, Minnesota and St. Cloud State University in St. Cloud, Minnesota.[1] His father was a Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod pastor. Bremer has done public speaking at churches across the midwest talking about his faith.

His surname is pronounced with the first "e" as a long "a"; that is. It's pronouned "Bray-mer."

He began covering Twins games in the second year of the Metrodome's existence, 1983.

Before his broadcasting career, Bremer was a Disc Jockey for KCLD (St. Cloud). His nickname was "Duke in the Dark".
