[edit] Biography[edit] Early lifeBrittany Nicole Carpenter was born on May 20, 1988 in Atlanta, Georgia.[1][3] [edit] Career[edit] Early Career with Crime Mob 2004-2007In the summer of 2004, Crime Mob came out with a successful single "Knuck If You Buck" and was a heavily enjoyed hit by urban radio.[4] [1] Diamond represented the presence of one of the two strong female rappers in the group.[1] The second single released by the group featuring solely the two female rappers of the group Diamond and Princess feat.Miss Aishia and was called Stilettos (Pumps). In late 2006, the group released their next single called "Rock Yo Hips", from their album Hated on Mostly. Diamond was largely shown throughout the music video created for the single. [edit] Solo Career 2008-PresentIn November 2007, Diamond left the rap group to pursue her own solo career.[3] She did not want to take the opportunity going solo, feeling bad and feeling like she betrayed the group.
