Derrty Entertainment is a record label founded by rapper Nelly who is the Chief Executive Officer. The president of the label is rapper Ali of the St. Lunatics. Derrty Entertainment is a division of Universal Motown Records. The first album released under Derrty Entertainment was Murphy Lee's platinum debut. Murphy's Law. In recent years, the label has collaborated with So So Def Recordings, Star Trak Records and Sho'Nuff Records. This is Nelly's biggest business interest. Since it was formed it has been very successful,the label's biggest release to date is Nelly's Suit which was released on the same day as Sweat on September 14 2004. To date Sweat and Suit together have sold over 5 million copies in the United States. Ashanti Douglas is rumored to have signed with Derrty as a joint venture with her label The Inc. In 2009 the label is set to release The new St Lunatics Album and Murphy-Lee's long awaited second album.
