The Derby du Nord (French for Northern Derby) is a football rivalry between RC Lens and Lille OSC, two of northern France's most successful clubs. The rivalry is underpinned by social and economic differences, since Lens is known as an old, working-class, industrial city and Lille as a middle-class, rich, modern and Europe-turned one. Nowadays the matches, which can get pretty heated, have gained more importance as they may determine berths in continental competitions.

Both clubs also contested a similar Derby du Nord matches with fellow Ligue 1 clubs US Boulogne and Valenciennes FC, though they are more smaller in importance.
