The current Minister for Transport is The Hon Rachel Nolan MP. The current Minister for Main Roads is The Hon Chris Wallace MP.

The current Director-General of the Department of Transport and Main Roads is David Stewart.

As a result of the merge in April 2009, an Associate Director-General position was created to accommodate the previous Director-General (Main Roads).
