Deon Terry Anderson (born January 27, 1983 in Providence, Rhode Island) is an American football fullback for the Dallas Cowboys of the National Football League.^[1] He attended and played college football at the University of Connecticut after graduating from the Avon Old Farms School in 2002. He was drafted in the sixth round of the 2007 NFL Draft. He played in eight games before suffering a season-ending rotator cuff injury during the November 4 game against the Philadelphia Eagles.

In a turbulent week between Tony Romo, Terrell Owens, and Jason Witten, Anderson caught a one-yard pass from Romo for his first touchdown catch in the NFL. This helped seal a win against the Giants, 20 - 8 on December 14, 2008, their second to last game at Texas Stadium.^{[citation needed]}
