Definition of Real is the second album from rapper Plies. It was released on June 10, 2008. Guest appearances include Ne-Yo, J. Holiday, Keyshia Cole, Trey Songz, Jamie Foxx and The-Dream.

Definition of Real debuted on the Billboard 200 at number two selling 214,902 copies in the first week of release, making it his second #2 album and highest first week sales, beating his debut album The Real Testament, which sold 96,000 in its first week. It was released on the same day as Lil Wayne's album Tha Carter III. It was the second best-selling hip hop album at the time in 2008 until it was beat by first week sales of The Game's album LAX, Young Jeezy's album The Recession and Lil Wayne's Tha Carter III. It was the fourth fast-selling hip hop album of 2008, until T.I.'s sixth studio album Paper Trail became the second in 2008, putting the album the fifth fastest selling hip hop album of 2008. In celebration of the album he re-named the date Goon 10th, instead of June 10[1] As of July 23, 2008 the total sales are up to 400,789.[2] During the week of July 23-30, the album sold 17,194 bringing the total to 417,983. It has become the rapper's second album to go 2xgold.Which making it his most successful album to date.[3] .

The first single is "Bust It Baby Pt. 2", featuring Ne-Yo. It is currently his biggest hit single to date, peaking at #7 on the Billboard 100. The second single is "Please Excuse My Hands", featuring Jamie Foxx and The-Dream.
