Dayle Hinman (born September 21, 1952) is a retired FBI-trained criminal profiler. She had a television series on TruTV (formerly known as CourtTV), Body of Evidence: From the case files of Dayle Hinman, documenting some of the cases she was assigned to while working at the Florida Department of Law Enforcement.
[edit] Early lifeBorn in Connecticut, Hinman's family moved to Palm Beach Gardens, Florida in 1961, where she graduated from Palm Beach Gardens High School. She has an older sister, Wendy, and two younger brothers, Eric and Jeff. [edit] Law enforcement trainingShe has a bachelor's degree from Florida State University in criminology. She had a one year fellowship at the FBI Behavorial Sciences unit and was one of the first people there to be trained in forensic profiling under John E. Douglas.[1] .
