Davis Sanchez (born August 7, 1974, in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada) is a former National Football League and current Canadian Football League cornerback for the Montreal Alouettes.
Sanchez attended North Delta Senior Secondary School, (after attending Seaquam Secondary) but did not play football there, instead playing basketball. He was good enough at basketball that he played one year at Capilano College. He started playing football in a men's league in Vancouver. He then played college football at the University of Oregon, but due to injuries only played in a limited number of games.
Sanchez was selected 6th overall in the 1999 CFL College Draft by the Montreal Alouettes. In 2001, he signed with the San Diego Chargers, with whom he played two seasons. He returned to the CFL in 2003 with the Calgary Stampeders. In 2004, he was traded to Montreal. In 2005, he signed with the Edmonton Eskimos. On February 18, 2006, he was traded again to Montreal for Reggie Durden and Rob Brown. This is Sanchez's third spell with the Als.
