David Mead (formerly Moore)^[1] (born 4 November 1988) is a rugby league footballer for the Gold Coast Titans Toyota Cup team in Australia. ^[2] He plays on the wing. He is a Papua New Guinea international.

Mead attended Kadina High School and Trinity Catholic College in Lismore New South Wales. He played junior football with Lismore Marist Brothers.^[3]

Mead was named in the PNG squad for the 2008 Rugby League World Cup.^[4]

Mead played impressively during the 2008 Rugby League World Cup and his NRL debut for the Gold Coast Titans is highly anticipated.^[3]

Mead recently signed a contract extension with the Gold Coast Titans after turning down an offer from the Sydney Roosters.^[1]

Mead made his club debut in round13 of the 2009 season

Mead was named as part of the Papua New Guinea squad for the 2009 Pacific Cup.^[5]
