David Holwell (born 5 January 1976 in Whangarei, New Zealand) is a rugby union fly half who played for Northland in the Air New Zealand Cup and NPC and for the Hurricanes in the Super 14. He has played for Northland between 1995-1998 and since 2006-2009, Wellington between 1999-2004 and for Leinster in 2005. In 2007 he played Super 14 for the Blues. It emerged in late November that he has re-signed for Leinster on a short-term contract due to their current lack of fly halves.[1] [edit] Footnotes
