David Campos (born September 28, 1970,^[1] Puerto Barrios, Guatemala) is a Guatemalan-American attorney and member of the San Francisco Board of Supervisors representing District 9. The district consists of Bernal Heights and the Inner Mission and it elected him on November 4, 2008 in the 2008 San Francisco elections.

Campos took office one month before the other freshman supervisors elected in November 2008: his predecessor, Tom Ammiano resigned from the Board of Supervisors in early December on the day he took his seat in the California State Assembly and mayor Gavin Newsom appointed Campos to the vacant supervisorial seat on December 4, 2008.^[2] Campos, like Ammiano, is openly gay.^[3]
