David Brookwell (born on February 6, 1961 in Morristown, New Jersey) is an American television and film producer, writer, and director. Brookwell is the co-founder of Brookwell McNamara Entertainment with long time partner Sean McNamara. Brookwell and his partner Sean McNamara are best known for their work in the "tween" television and film market, discovering and casting notable teen stars including Jessica Alba, Brenda Song, Hilary Duff, Zac Efron, Vanessa Anne Hudgens, Shia LaBeouf, Christy Carlson Romano, Raven-Symoné, Allison Michalka, Ashley Tisdale and the Jonas Brothers.
