David Edward Hamilton (born December 13, 1947 in Seattle, Washington) was a Major League Baseball pitcher from 1972 to 1980 for the Oakland Athletics, Chicago White Sox, St. Louis Cardinals, and Pittsburgh Pirates. He was a member of the Athletics when they won the World Series in 1972 through 1974. He currently lives in California with his wife, Lynn, and has three grown children Jonathan, Brian and Christie.
