Darren Langdon (born January 8, 1971 in Deer Lake, Newfoundland) is a retired Canadian professional ice hockey left winger. He was undrafted but signed his first pro contract in 1993 with the New York Rangers. He has also played for the Carolina Hurricanes, Vancouver Canucks, Montreal Canadiens, and New Jersey Devils.

He currently plays with the Deer Lake Red Wings in the Newfoundland West Coast Senior Hockey League and played one season with the Summerside Western Capitals in the Maritime Junior A Hockey League. Langdon began his pro career with Dayton of the ECHL and then onto Binghamton of the AHL, farm team for the New York Rangers.

Langdon has stated in an interview by The Telegram that his career with the NHL is over, citing his age. His contract with the Devils expired in June, 2006 and is not expected to be renewed. Langdon has played in 521 NHL games. [1]

Langdon is most famous for his hockey fighting ability. He has been described as an experienced and enduring hockey fighter who is at his best during the second half of the fight.

Langdon and his wife Jillian have four children, three of them being triplets.
