Darrell Griffin is an English professional rugby league footballer for the Leeds Rhinos of Super League. An England international representative prop forward, his former clubs include Oxford Cavaliers, London Broncos, Wakefield Trinity Wildcats and Huddersfield Giants.

He is notable as being a top flight rugby league player from a non-traditional area, progressing through the youth system at Oxford Cavaliers and onto the London Broncos academy.[3][4][5]

He came through the youth system at both Oxford & Witney Rugby Club.

His younger brothers Josh Griffin,[6] and George Griffin are also rugby league players.

Griffin joined Wakefield in June 2003 from rugby union side Harlequins.[7][8]

He was named in the England training squad for the 2008 Rugby League World Cup.[9]

He was also named in the England team to face Wales at the Keepmoat Stadium prior to England's departure for the 2008 Rugby League World Cup.[10]

Griffin joined Leeds Rhinos from Huddersfield Giants on a 3-year contract in October 2011.
