Darij Grinberg (* November 5, 1988 in Moscow) is a German-Russian mathematician known for his work on triangle geometry. Darij Grinberg proved some properties of certain points in triangles, for example the Kosnita point. Furthermore, he discovered some new special points in triangles and introduced the concept of the Blaikie points and the Blaikie transformations. There are six points in the Encyclopedia of Triangle Centers named after him:
Darij Grinberg moved in 1996 with his parents from Moscow to Karlsruhe. He got two silver medals (2004, 2005) and one gold medal (2006) at the International Mathematical Olympiad and was Bundessieger of the Bundeswettbewerb Mathematik four times and successful participant at the Deutsche Mathematik-Olympiade and the Landeswettbewerb Mathematik Baden-Württemberg. Grinberg studies mathematics at the LMU in Munich and is member of the CdE in Germany. [edit] External links |
