Daelim:
Daelim Industrial was established in 1939, and its E&G(Engineering & Construction) and Petrochemical Groups are the main lead of the Daelim Business Conglomerate.
In 1966, Daelim became Korea's first company to work on an overseas construction project. Since 1970, Daelim has completed numerous projects in the Middle East and Southeast Asia. With a staff of over 3,100 engineering specialists, Daelim's E&C group provides feasibility studies, project management, engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning and start-up, operation and maintenance, and project financing.
The fields covered by Daelim Industrial include gas, petroleum refining, chemical and petrochemical, power and energy plants, building and housing, civil works, and industrial facilities.
Daelim's Petrochemical Group provides a range of products from basic petrochemicals to value-added products.

- 1939 Established as a construction material supplier, later became Daelim Industrial.
- 1966 Commenced the first overseas business, a beginning to Korean construction companies to work on overseas projects.
- 1971 Set up the first overseas office in Singapore.
- 1974 Daelim Engineering was established.
- 1976 Listed in Korean Stock Exchange, established Daelim Saudi Arabia Co., Ltd.
- 1981 Honda started technical support of motorcycles for Daelim Motor[1].
- 1987 Merged with Honam Ethylene Co., Ltd. Started to manufacture petrochemical products.
- 1999 Merged with Daelim Engineering, became capable of providing total construction services for buildings, civil structures, power & energy plant.
- 2000 Set up KR Copolymer with Phillips Petroleum.
- 2004~2005 Officially Ranked as the top in the Korea's Most Admired Company Index in construction & engineering business

Having operations in 10 nations worldwide focused on projects in domestic, middle east, and Southeast Asia, its headquarter is in two locations in Seoul Korea according to its business division. Civil & Building Construction Division is located in Jongno, the city central of Seoul. Engineering & Procurement Division is located in Yoido, a well known place as a business heart of Korea.
