Cubic Defense Applications is an American defense contractor that provides training and mission-support services to the U.S. military. Among other activities, the company supports US Army training exercises at the Joint Readiness Training Center, and manufactures MILES gear for multiple military customers^{[citation needed]}.

Cubic's primary contactless product is proprietary, operating on the same frequency as the international ISO/IEC 14443 standards. The Go Card uses an 8% NRZ ASK modulation scheme for transmission at 13.56 MHz, and a ASK-NRZ load modulation scheme for transmission from the smart card. This format is described International Application Number PCT/US92/08892 and WO 93/09516, titled "Non-contact Automatic Fare Collection System", filed Oct. 19, 1992.
