Corus Entertainment Inc. (TSX: CJR.B NYSE: CJR) is a publicly traded Canadian media and entertainment company.

Corus is a leading Canadian specialty television and radio producer, with additional assets in pay television, advertising services, television broadcasting, children's book publishing and children's animation. The company’s multimedia entertainment brands include YTV, Treehouse TV, W Network, Movie Central, CMT, Teletoon, Encore Avenue, Nelvana, Kids Can Press and radio stations including CKNW, CKOI, CILQ (Q107 Toronto), and CKRY (Country 105 Calgary).

Corus Entertainment's voting majority is held by the company's founder JR Shaw and his family, which also owns cable operator Shaw Communications, from which Corus was spun off in 1999. Aside from this common controlling shareholder, and despite occasional media reports to the contrary, Corus and Shaw are independent companies. Nonetheless, they continue to have close ties on some matters; for example, Corus manages advertising services (e.g., TV listings and infomercial channels) for Shaw-owned cable systems, and Shaw is a frequent national advertiser on Corus channels despite its regional footprint. On the other hand, there is presently no connection or common programming between Corus's conventional TV stations (such as CHEX-TV) and those of Shaw (i.e., CJBN-TV).
