Continuum is a music project created by eclectic musician Steven Wilson (of Porcupine Tree, No-Man, Blackfield, Bass Communion, and Incredible Expanding Mindfuck) and Dirk Serries (of Vidna Obmana and Fear Falls Burning). Continuum is a multi-layered synonym for their collective ambition and vision, motivated by their immense passion for a wide-range of musical styles.^{[clarification needed]} The music created by Continuum cannot truly be fit into a genre. It can be described as desolate, minimalistic, and ambient. Samples of new material, available on Continuum's official MySpace shows promise of an almost drone metal type sound.

Part one of a collaboration series between Bass Communion and Dirk Serries (Vidna Obmana / Fear Falls Burning).

25 copies were originally intended to be promotion copies, but as the limited edition pressing sold so quickly that the album was released as 1,000 copies in book sized digipack designed by Lasse Hoile. The only sign that they are promo copies is a small black line through the bar code^[1].

A second edition of 1,000 copies was released in July 2008.
