Constance Zimmer (born October 11, 1970) is an American actress perhaps best known for her role as Dana Gordon in HBO's Entourage and as Claire Simms on the critically acclaimed ABC legal comedy-drama Boston Legal .

Zimmer was born in Seattle, Washington, to Ingrid Mueller and Gunter Zimmer.

On January 5, 2008, Constance Zimmer gave birth to daughter Colette Zoe. The father is Zimmer's partner, Russ Lamoureux. In a 2007 interview with Variety, she stated that she and Russ were not ready to get married, as having a child was enough responsibility. They reside near Griffith Park, LA, California.

Zimmer was a gymnast until puberty. She makes handmade jewelry, candles, greeting cards and many other self-designed endeavors. She has her own book club, which was a long-time dream of hers.

She has supported charitable causes such as the AIDS Project-Los Angeles, Tuesday's Child, and The American Cinematheque.

Constance Zimmer began her acting career in high school productions. After graduation, she auditioned for the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in Los Angeles.

She has appeared in national commercials (Duracell, Triscuit, Budweiser) as well as many TV guest spots (Fighting Fitzgeralds, King of Queens, Seinfeld and The Wayans Brothers). She became one of the stars of Good Morning, Miami as Penelope "Penny" Barnes Barrington, which originally aired from September 2002 to December 2003.

Other television credits include a recurring role as studio exec Dana Gordon in HBO's Entourage since its second season, and the role of attorney Claire Simms in season 3 of Boston Legal. She has also appeared on Joan of Arcadia, In Justice, and The X-Files seventh season episode "First Person Shooter". She had a small role in Seinfeld in an episode entitled The Wizard where she played a waitress at Monk's Restaurant and asks Elaine's boyfriend, Darryl, if he's "black" or does he want cream.

She won the Best Actress Drama-Logue Award for her performance in the Los Angeles play Catholic School Girls.
