Constance Marie (born Constance Marie Lopez on September 9, 1965[1] in East Los Angeles, California) is an American actress of Mexican descent. She is best known for her role as Angie Lopez on the sitcom George Lopez.
[edit] Early lifeMarie grew up in Los Angeles, California. She is part of a third-generation Mexican American family[1] that moved from apartment to apartment, and was raised by her mother and grandmother. Marie attended Fairfax High School in Los Angeles. While in her teens, Marie developed a passion for dancing. By age 19, Marie was tapped to dance in Japan in a musical called Cosmopolis by composer Ryuichi Sakamoto. When she returned to Los Angeles, Marie's career took a huge step when she was spotted in a club by a dance choreographer for pop icon David Bowie. [edit] Personal lifeMarie has been in a relationship with Kent Katich since 1995. The couple have a daughter, Luna Marie, born on February 5, 2009 in Santa Monica, California.
