Colleen Farrington (born in 1936 in Davisboro, Georgia^[1]) is an American model and nightclub singer. She is the mother of Academy Award-nominated actress Diane Lane. She was also Playboy magazine's Playmate of the Month for its October 1957 issue. Her pictorial was photographed by Peter Basch.^[1]

Before becoming a Playmate, Farrington was a fashion model in New York City and was a particular favorite of fashion designer Oleg Cassini. She eventually married acting coach Burt Lane and divorced him in 1965, shortly after her daughter Diane was born.^[2]^[3] She later settled in Georgia.
