The story tells Wilstermann who was born with the name of San Jose de la Banda and the Blue and White colors. The change would come later. When beginning to fall a Nov. 24, 1949, he met a group of workers from Lloyd Aereo Boliviano to found a club that is identified with the company and that it can be the pride of the workers. After 2 hours of debate, in the maintenance section, gave birth to the San Jose club of the band in tribute to the area and the name of the airport in Cochabamba. They then proceeded to the election of the board, and was appointed as president Justo Mancilla.

One problem that was presented at the meeting and it was not easy to solve it had to do with the colors you should use the computer. While some favored a color, others did not agree, until he reached the conclusion and decided to put the colors of the institution ... blue and white.

After the death of the first commercial pilot of Bolivia, Jorge Wilstermann, came the change of name of the club. In 1953, Captain Walter Lemma, manager of the company and partner of the deceased pilot, suggested that both the airport terminal as the team had to bear the name of Jorge Wilstermann, in tribute to a person who was very dear to the institución.Después the foundation. the leaders entered the club in the Football Association of Cochabamba (AFC) to intervene in their second division. He had no rival to the front and his good campaign forced him to seek to intervene in the AFC championship semi which was played in La Paz and Oruro between teams from the same city. After a series of negotiations, La Paz accepted, but after examining evidentiary He made his debut with Bolivar, then Champion, and he won before the surprise of friends and strangers, by 7-5 in a memorable match for Garcia, Soria and Alcocer. At the conclusion of the match, the leaders agreed to grazing their inclusion in the professional tournament, provided they bear the relocation costs, lodging and meals for the teams who were to play Cochabamba. The club went Cochabamba distress, but a big step had been, was worth it.

When Dr. Late Jorge Rojas was responsible for the chairmanship of the club, the team changed its colors. It was he who proposed to choose other colors, one that takes more strength, it expresses more vigor and is synonymous with claw. We opted for the red and blue. "I chose those colors because they mean force, claw and total dedication in the field of play, it was also the only team in the country which then began to use those colors," said Rojas Late.
