Clark Richard McCauley is an American social psychologist. He currently is a professor of psychology at Bryn Mawr College. McCauley received his Bachelor of Science degree in biology from Providence College in 1965, his Master of Arts degree in psychology from the University of Pennsylvania in 1967, and his Ph.D in social psychology from the University of Pennsylvania in 1970. He has worked a psychology professor at Bryn Mawr College since 1970, first as an assistant professor (1970-1976) and an associate professor (1976-1986) before being made a full professor in 1986. Since 1998, McCauley has also been the director of the Solomon Asch Center for Study of Ethnopolitical Conflict, now at Bryn Mawr College. He is a member of the Psychosocial Working Group and the American Psychological Association's Task Force on Reaction to Terrorism. McCauley also is a member of the International Association of Applied Psychology, where he is a member of the policy committee and the chair of the Subcommittee on Ethnopolitical Violence. McCauley is also a consultant to Harry Frank Guggenheim Foundation. [edit] External links |
