Claire Holt (born 7 July 1988) is an Australian actress, best known for her role on the television show H2O: Just Add Water portraying the role of Emma.

In addition to television and film roles she has appeared in advertisements for Dreamworld, Sizzlers and Queensland Lifesaving.

In 2006 she won her breakout role as Emma Gilbert in the Ten Network children's television series H2O: Just Add Water. The show which has become an international success story has earned a Logie Award and Nickelodeon Australia Kids' Choice Award. The series was announced renewed for a third season without Claire returning due to work on Messengers 2: The Scarecrow. It was announced Indiana Evans would replace Claire.

In 2008 Claire was announced she has signed on for the sequel to the 2007 Screen Gems horror film The Messengers in Messengers 2: The Scarecrow. Filming took place in Sofia throughout 2008. Starring alongside Norman Reedus and Heather Stephens the film was released July 21, 2009 Straight-to-DVD to negative reviews.

Claire Holt graduated from Stuartholme school in Toowong (Brisbane, Queensland – her birthplace) at the end of 2005. She has a walloping addiction to sports: she enjoys swimming, volleyball, is a competitive water polo player and has a black belt in Tae-Kwon-Do. When she was a bit younger, she was in the school choir and likes singing.

Interviews have shown Claire Holt has a Myspace and a Twitter account. She has been to a few fanmeetings, including in Paris and had made a few interviews, from which fans may learn about her personal life, childhood and career from when she was young also learn about her family and friends and her life when she was a kid.
